 Urgent surrender information - please read

We are overwhelmed with phone calls of people wanting to surrender their Boxers to our rescue. As heartbreaking as it is, we simply cannot take every dog as we are at capacity with our rescue funds and space. Our rescue priority is for Boxers that have no one to care for them or make decisions on their behalf. You are responsible for making the right choices for the health, safety, wellness and ongoing care of your Boxer. At this time, we are near capacity and will likely be unable to assist you. However, after reading our page on surrendering (see menu bar on left) and considering all of your options you still feel that you need us, complete the "surrender form" found at the bottom of the surrendering your Boxer page. Please complete, fully, and fax to the number on the form. Additionally, you must submit digital pictures of the Boxer you are asking us to help immediately following the fax transmittal of your surrender form. We will not review a request that is not complete - signed surrender form and receipt of pictures is considered a completed request. Pictures are to be mailed to boxerluvrescue@gmail.com with a comment in the subject line; pictures for surrender request of _____________ (name of Boxer with your last name following, e.g. "Buddy" Smith). Please consider all options before submitting a request to us. The demand is heavy and all needs cannot be met.

Once a completed request is received, it will be reviewed within 24-48 hours. We will not respond to all requests, therefore, you should assume we are unable to help if you have not heard from us within 72 hours of your submission. WE WILL ONLY CONTACT THOSE THAT WE ARE ABLE TO HELP WHEN SPACE IN THE RESCUE PERMITS.
