Hi I'm Junie B (I am sure that “B” stands for BEAUTIFUL BOXER). You can tell by my "before" photos that I have come a long way since I was rescued. Abandoned at a truck stop, starving and in pain from the effects of Demodex Mange, I had to be carried to the clinic where treatment was started to ease my pain and treat the non-contagious Mange. Most of my fur was gone and my front leg was injured but I don't remember how. I may look like a movie star now, but when my foster mom first saw me, I think she cried. After months of loving care and a little medicine to cure my Demodex Mange, my white fur is soft and luxurious.

I absolutely adore attention and my quiet time with my foster mom every day is very special for both of us. I am well-behaved, house-trained, can sleep in a crate and am learning some basic commands. Gradually, I have built up the strength in my front leg and can now play (supervised) with my Boxer brothers in the back yard. I am getting stronger every day and look forward to short walks in the neighborhood. I will be the perfect companion for anyone who is looking for a less active dog to spend their time with. On to the next chapter in my life – I am ready to find my forever family!
