PLEASE NOTE: Boxer Luv Rescue is an all-volunteer organization – no paid, full-time staff here. That allows us to designate 100% of our funds to the care of Boxers.
Boxer Luv also receives a significant amount of daily inquiries that are managed by volunteers with full-time jobs and families. They are graciously giving of their personal time. Given the significant volume of inquiries, we are unable to respond to each one individually.

While most adoptions occur in Maricopa, Pinal and Pima counties, we do consider applicants throughout the state. Adoption is only possible if we have volunteers able to complete the full approval process that includes a physical home visit. We are an all volunteer organization with most volunteers living in Maricopa, Pinal and Pima counties.
We are so grateful for your interest in a BLR Boxer. Considering all the factors involved in placing our dogs in the right home, we may not be able to accommodate your specific requests, for example "cat-friendly Boxer."
All of our rescued Boxers are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and have full blood lab workups. All known medical issues, identified through our thorough exam and diagnotic testing processes are treated and fully disclosed to potential adopters.
In general, our $400 adoption fee applies to most of our Boxers/ Boxer mixes however fees may vary depending on the age and medical condition of the Boxer/ Boxer mix you’re interested in.
For example, if there are chronic medical issues that will require ongoing medical care, we may lower the adoption fee. Your donation (adoption fee) only covers a portion of Boxer Luv’s average cost to care for each of our rescued Boxers.
Currently, our cost per Boxer/ Boxer mix is in excess of $1,000. The balance is covered by individual contributions through fundraising drives and organizational grants. Your donation to adopt helps us continue to help others in need.
